Audience Services And Venue Continuity.

Front-of-house operations for broadcast and live venues. Seating and ushering, ADA accommodation, house count reconciliation, and continuity seating for televised events, in which designated personnel occupy vacated seats during breaks to maintain consistent house appearance on camera. Continuity personnel are briefed on demographic placement and attire matching prior to each broadcast assignment.

Professional dress is required at the student's expense. A garment allowance is not provided.

Graduates

Continuity seating sounds absurd until you have watched a broadcast where half the house reads empty on camera. You learn to reconcile a house count in the dark, quietly, without anyone in row F knowing you moved them.

Facilities and instruction

Black Box Theatre.
