Institutional accreditation

Bellweather College of Applied Technology is accredited by the Council on Occupational and Technical Accreditation (COTA). The College’s institution ID is 04-1962.

Complaints regarding the College may be filed directly with the Council under its published complaint procedure, available from the Council at the address above. The College will provide a copy of the Council’s current complaint procedure on request from the Office of the President.

State authorization

The College is the Tolliver Technical College District, a political subdivision of the State of Ohio organized under Chapter 3357 of the Ohio Revised Code, and is authorized by the Ohio Department of Higher Education. The certificate of authorization is available for review at the Office of the President.

Programmatic approvals

Certain programs hold approval, licensure, or recognition from state boards and agencies in addition to institutional accreditation. Each such approval is stated on the applicable division or program page, which governs for that program. Applications pending before the accreditor are noted on the applicable program page with their status.

The College’s accreditation documents, including self-studies, site team reports, and correspondence with the Council, are available for review at the Office of the President, Room A-200, by appointment, ext. 2201.
