Office of Institutional Effectiveness

Room A-118A · ext. 2235 · Executive Director: Iris Tannehill, M.S.

The Office of Institutional Effectiveness is responsible for the College’s institutional reporting, including submissions to IPEDS, the Ohio Department of Higher Education, and the Council on Occupational and Technical Accreditation; for the program review cycle; for survey administration, including the graduate follow-up survey; and for the placement methodology statement of record, most recently revised August 2025, which supersedes the version of March 2022. The Office publishes the Fact Book annually.

Completion, placement, and licensure figures published elsewhere on this site are prepared by this Office; see Student Outcomes. Where a figure in another College publication differs from the Fact Book, the Fact Book governs.

Data requests

Requests for custom data extracts are accepted at ext. 2235 or through the form at Fact Book › Data Request, and are fulfilled in the order received, generally within three weeks. The Office publishes aggregate figures only; a request concerning an individual student’s record is a matter for the Registrar and is subject to FERPA.

Program review

Each program of record is reviewed on a five-year cycle. A review compiles enrollment, completion, placement, and licensure data, the advisory committee’s findings, and the division’s response, and is reported to the Provost. The review schedule is available from the Office. Programs whose review is overdue by more than one cycle are flagged in the annual report to the Provost; the Office does not make that list public.
