Alumni

Graduates of the College, and of the Bellweather Vocational Institute before it, are alumni of Bellweather College of Applied Technology. The College does not maintain a separately incorporated alumni association and does not charge alumni dues. Alumni relations are administered by the Bellweather College Foundation, Room A-208, ext. 2290, alumni@bellweather.tech. Records of Institute-era graduates are held by the Foundation and are as complete as the transfer of files permitted at the time of reorganization.

The Drover Dispatch

The Foundation publishes the Drover Dispatch, a newsletter mailed to alumni of record twice each year. Class notes may be submitted with an information update and are published only with the consent of the individual. Back issues are available from the Foundation office.

Keeping your record current

Alumni records are maintained by the Foundation. A current record permits delivery of the Dispatch, notice of alumni events, and the College’s graduate follow-up reporting. Updates may be submitted at any time; see Update Your Information.

Transcripts

The transcript of record is maintained by the Registrar, not by the Foundation. Alumni request transcripts in the same manner as enrolled students; see Transcripts. Charges are listed in the Schedule of Charges.

Events

Commencement is held each May in Drover Court and is open to the public. Alumni are welcome at Drover Day, the College’s annual open house, held each April. Alumni of the former Institute are considered alumni of the College for purposes of these events.

Memorial gifts

Memorial gifts in the name of an alumnus or alumna are received by the Foundation; see Giving.
