Cemetery Grounds and Monument Services
Technical Certificate · 16 credit hours · 1 semesters · Division of Funerary and Interment Services
Monument setting and resetting, foundation pouring, granite and marble cleaning, grave excavation and closing, and grounds maintenance in active interment areas.
Field instruction is completed at the Cemetery Practicum Ground. ASTM F2413-rated footwear is required from the first day of field instruction. Students are expected to maintain a professional demeanor throughout all field assignments, including those completed in areas of concurrent family activity.
