Crematory Operations.
A substantive change application for this program is pending before the Council on Occupational and Technical Accreditation. Enrollment is not open. Joining an interest list creates no enrollment rights and no fee obligation.

Cremation equipment operation and maintenance, identification and chain-of-custody procedure, permit and authorization documentation under ORC 4717, emissions compliance, and processed remains handling. Prepares graduates for Cremation Association of North America operator certification.

Instruction uses the retort of a cooperating firm under a facilities agreement; the College does not operate a crematory. All instructional cremations are performed under the authorization and supervision of the cooperating firm’s licensed personnel.

Facilities and instruction

Funeral Service Classroom Equipment Only.

Instruction is delivered in the facilities of the Division of Funerary and Interment Services. Additional photographs are collected at Campus photographs.
