Field Monitoring For Cultural Resources.
A substantive change application for this program is pending before the Council on Occupational and Technical Accreditation. Enrollment is not open. Joining an interest list creates no enrollment rights and no fee obligation.

Construction monitoring for archaeologically sensitive sites. Monitor authority and stop-work procedure, human remains discovery protocol under ORC 149.55, documentation standards, tribal notification coordination, and the working relationship between the monitor, the contractor, and the consulting archaeologist of record. Graduates work for cultural resource management firms and public agencies.

This certificate does not qualify graduates as archaeologists and does not satisfy the Secretary of the Interior’s professional qualification standards.

Facilities and instruction

Funeral Service Classroom Equipment Only.

Instruction is delivered in the facilities of the Division of Funerary and Interment Services. Additional photographs are collected at Campus photographs.
