Historical Instrument Maintenance.
A substantive change application for this program is pending before the Council on Occupational and Technical Accreditation. Enrollment is not open. Joining an interest list creates no enrollment rights and no fee obligation.

Maintenance and repair of early plucked and bowed string instruments: fretting in gut, bridge and nut work, crack stabilization, pegbox repair, and humidity management for institutional collections.

This is a maintenance credential; instrument construction is outside its scope. Graduates serve schools, early music ensembles, and private collections.

Facilities and instruction

Black Box Theatre.

Instruction is delivered in the facilities of the Division of Performance and Guest Services. Additional photographs are collected at Campus photographs.
