Institutional Aquatic Species Sales

Technical Certificate · 14 credit hours · Division of Animal and Agricultural Sciences

Enrollment in this program is suspended. Enrolled students will be taught out under the published teach-out plan.

Sales and account management for aquarium and pond species supplied to institutional purchasers: schools, offices, healthcare facilities, and municipal installations. Species selection for unattended environments, maintenance contract structuring, and livestock guarantee administration.

A unit in ANM 172 covers mortality disclosure and replacement protocols specific to healthcare facility accounts, where tank condition is visible to patients and staff and where replacement timing is subject to site access policies. Students review three case studies drawn from cooperating accounts; identifying information has been removed.

Graduates

The trick is selling a tank into a lobby where nobody will feed it. You spec for neglect and write the maintenance contract at the same time. That is the program in one sentence.
