Sciurid and Small Mammal Nuisance Control
Technical Certificate · 16 credit hours · 1 semesters · Division of Animal and Agricultural Sciences
Live capture, exclusion, and relocation of squirrels, chipmunks, and comparable small mammals in residential and commercial structures. Attic and soffit exclusion, one-way door installation, and applicable Ohio Division of Wildlife permitting. Field sessions require students to supply their own vehicle; a minimum cargo capacity for standard live-trap transport is specified in the program handbook.
The program prepares graduates for the Ohio Commercial Nuisance Wild Animal Control Operator examination. Examination fees are not included in tuition.
