Single-Wheel and Alternative Conveyance Performance
Technical Certificate · 12 credit hours · 1 semesters · Division of Performance and Guest Services

Unicycle, giraffe unicycle, and related conveyance for performance and parade engagement. Mounting and dismounting, idling, reverse riding, and crowd-adjacent riding at low speed. The giraffe unicycle unit does not begin until students have demonstrated sustained forward riding at a minimum of forty feet; students who have not met this threshold by the eighth week are counseled by the program coordinator regarding continuation.
Helmets are required in the studio at all times and are stocked by the Bookstore. The program is offered in the Spring term.

Graduates
Idling in place is harder than riding forward, and it is what a parade needs when the line stops. We drilled it until it was boring. That is what a stopped parade requires.
