Cosmetology Clinic.

Full-scope cosmetology preparing students for licensure by the Ohio State Cosmetology and Barber Board. The program meets the 1,500-hour state requirement. Cutting, chemical services, and a sequence in dry styling and comb-out technique.

Clinic services are offered to the public in the Wing C clinic beginning in the third semester. Appointments are scheduled through the Division office. Services are performed by students under licensed instructor supervision. Service times are longer than those at commercial salons; clients are advised of this at the time of booking.

State licensure fees are not included in tuition. The Board examination is scheduled by the student directly with the Board's testing administrator. Students are encouraged to submit the licensure application no later than the final term of enrollment.

Fifteen hundred hours is fifteen hundred hours anywhere. What the Wing C clinic gave me was the third semester on the public, where the chair talks back and you keep cutting.
