Workforce training funding

Non-credit workforce training is not eligible for federal student aid. The funding sources below apply to non-credit training only; students in credit programs should see Cost & Aid.

WIOA

The College is an approved training provider under the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act for designated programs. Eligibility is determined by OhioMeansJobs Tolliver County, not by the College. Individuals seeking WIOA funding must be determined eligible and receive a voucher before registering; the College cannot refund charges paid personally in anticipation of a voucher.

Employer-paid training

Employers may be invoiced directly for customized training and for employee enrollments under a written agreement with the Office of Workforce Training. Invoicing terms are net 30. A purchase order or signed agreement is required before the first session.

TechCred

Ohio employers may apply to the state TechCred program for reimbursement of credential-bearing training costs. Application is made by the employer to the state; the College provides completion documentation on request.

Veterans

Approved credit programs are certified for VA education benefits through the Office of the Registrar. Most non-credit offerings are not approved for VA benefits; contact the certifying official, ext. 2250, before enrolling.
