Derek is a second-year student in the Private Investigation program and returns for his second season. His program's field-observation module runs in six-week rotations; during active rotations he submits weekly mileage logs to his academic supervisor as part of the surveillance-documentation practicum. He transferred to the team after competing in track at his high school.
