Career Exploration Days

Eighth-grade students from the 14 partner districts visit campus each October and February for program demonstrations. 1,240 students participated in 2024–25.

College Credit Plus

Qualifying high school students enroll in College coursework at no tuition cost, per state program rules. Advising: ext. 2164.

SkillsUSA Regional Qualifier

The College hosts the regional qualifying competition each January in welding, cosmetology, and culinary events.

Summer youth camps

Bowling and volleyball camps are operated by Athletics. The Junior Naturalist day camp is operated with OSU Extension at Barn Complex B and Pasture 5. The Reptile House is included on the camp tour schedule at a viewing window only. Participants do not enter the Reptile House; this is not a scheduling constraint.

4-H partnerships

The College provides barn facilities and faculty judging support for county 4-H programs. The consulting veterinarian provides one no-cost health clinic before the county fair. The clinic covers enrolled animals only and does not extend to animals presented without prior registration.

Minors on campus

Minors participate in College programs under a written agreement between the College and the sponsoring school or organization, which assigns supervision responsibility. Unaccompanied minors are not permitted in laboratories, shops, the barns, or the Reptile House.

All College employees report suspected child abuse or neglect to Tolliver County Children Services and to law enforcement, directly and immediately. Reporting is not routed through a supervisor or any College office first. See Report a Concern.
