Anomalous Property Student Chapter

Meets: Second Tuesday, 12:00 p.m., posted in DroverNet · Adviser: Franklin R. Bede, Acting Program Coordinator · Organized 2021

The chapter serves students in the Division of Anomalous Property and Nonstandard Conditions. Programming concerns the building sciences: instrumentation practice, documentation standards, and career preparation. The chapter does not conduct investigations and does not accept requests from property owners; such requests are referred to the Division office, which maintains the referral list of licensed contractors.

History

• Chartered in 2021, the year the Division’s enrollment began its present growth.
• The chapter’s annual equipment calibration night, held each January, is open to all enrolled students. Attendance has exceeded the chapter’s membership every year it has been held.

Officers, 2026–27

Officer lists are filed with the September recognition renewal; the roster below is as filed with the Office of the Dean of Students.

Colette Marsh — President

Second-year student, Anomalous Property Remediation. Maintains the chapter’s loaner instrument log. Instruments are signed out and returned the same day, without exception.

Tobias Grett — Vice President

Anomalous Property Remediation. Coordinates the calibration night. Attendance is counted at the door and again at close; both counts are entered in the minutes.

Ellen Voss-Purdy — Secretary

Occupant Support and Referral. Keeps the chapter’s copy of the Division referral list current. Questions outside the chapter’s scope are referred without discussion.
