Sessions run approximately 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and begin in Drover Court. New students are advised to allow extra time when locating rooms in Wing B, which is numbered in the direction opposite to Wing A.

What orientation covers

Program safety orientations

Orientation does not replace program safety orientations. Shop, barn, laboratory, and range safety orientations are scheduled by the divisions during the first week of instruction and are a condition of participation in those settings. Students enrolled at the Aviation and Heavy Equipment Annex complete a separate Annex orientation at the Annex; there is no shuttle, and students provide their own transportation.

Students unable to attend a scheduled session should call ext. 2162; an individual makeup is arranged during the first week of the term.
