Reenactment Company

The Reenactment Company is the performing organization of the Stage Combat and Historical Reenactment program. The Company performs at fairs, historical sites, and College events. All Company combat is choreographed and is performed under the program’s weapon inspection protocol; Company weapons are stored in the program’s locked cage and are inspected before every drill.

History

• Organized in 2009. The Company does not loan armor, a policy dating from 2012.
• The Company’s period camp at the county fair has been staffed continuously since 2013; the fair board provides the same site each year by letter of agreement.

Roswell Petty — Fight Captain

Stage Combat and Historical Reenactment. Holds the fight captain role for Company engagements. Choreography is walked at half speed before every performance, including the fifth year of the same fair demonstration.

Constance Dilworth — Armorer

Stage Combat and Historical Reenactment. Maintains the armor under the loan policy. Fittings are by appointment, and armor does not leave the shop except for engagements.

Hollis Yeagley — Secretary

Audience Services and Venue Continuity. Keeps the drill calendar. Drills are called by the adviser and posted with forty-eight hours’ notice.
