Veterans Club

Meets: First Friday, 12:00 p.m., posted in DroverNet · Adviser: Manuel Roque, Veterans Services Coordinator and School Certifying Official · Organized 2010

The Veterans Club is open to student veterans, service members, and dependents. The club provides peer connection and coordinates with the Veterans Services office on benefits questions, which are handled by that office and not by the club.

History

• Organized in 2010. The club places flags at the Tolliver County veterans’ memorial each May with the county veterans service commission.

Private Investigation. Army veteran. Coordinates the May flag placement with the county veterans service commission.

Dana Hupp — Secretary-Treasurer

Plasma and Blood Center Operations. Navy veteran. Maintains the club’s contact list, which is shared with no office except at the member’s request.

Events

• Flag placement — May, with the county veterans service commission.
• Veterans Day observance — November 11, flagpole. The observance begins at 11:00 a.m. by the Registrar’s office clock.
