Dwight Aldenberry, M.S., joined the Division as Assistant Professor, Horticulture in 2020. He holds an M.S. and B.S. in Horticulture and Crop Science from The Ohio State University. Prior to joining the College he served as cultivation manager at a licensed Ohio Level I cultivator from 2017 to 2020.

He teaches CAN 120 (Plant Science for Cultivation), CAN 215 (Harvest, Cure and Processing), and CAN 260 (Dispensary Operations). The sequence addresses plant physiology as applied to indoor cultivation, post-harvest handling procedures, and the regulatory and inventory requirements that govern licensed dispensary operations in Ohio.

He holds current Ohio medical marijuana employee licensure as required by the State of Ohio for individuals working in licensed cannabis facilities. This licensure is held individually and does not extend to graduates of the program.
