Odalys R. Brench was appointed Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs in 2021. She holds a Ph.D. and M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction from Kent State University and a B.A. in English from Ohio Wesleyan University. Prior to her appointment, she served as Dean of Instruction at the Sandusky Career Center from 2013 to 2021, and before that as a classroom instructor from 1999 to 2013.

Dr. Brench oversees all academic divisions, faculty personnel, curriculum development, the library and learning resources, the testing center, and the registrar's office. She is the responsible administrator for the Division of Anomalous Property and Nonstandard Conditions, which currently has no seated chair.

Dr. Brench is a member of the Ohio Association of Career and Technical Education and serves on the College's Curriculum and Instruction Committee as chair. She participates in the Higher Learning Commission's peer review corps.
