Constance Ellery-Modd has served as Division Chair since joining the College in 2008. She holds an M.F.A. in Theatre from Case Western Reserve University and a B.A. in Theatre from Denison University. Prior to BCAT, she was associate artistic director at Sheldon Playhouse for eleven years.
She teaches Introduction to Performance and Guest Services (PER 101), Venue and Event Management (PER 250), and the program capstone. Her instruction covers scheduling and advance production coordination, house count procedures, and the professional expectations shared by performance and audience services roles.
Professor Ellery-Modd has served as a panelist for the Ohio Arts Council in 2016 and 2021. She reviews course and program documentation as the Division's responsible administrator for curriculum compliance.
