Lorna Petshek has been an Instructor in hairpiece construction and fitting since joining the College in 2009. She holds a Certificate from the American Hair Loss Council and spent nine years as a prosthetic hair specialist at Cleveland Clinic Cosmetic Services prior to entering education.
Ms. Petshek teaches Ventilating and Knotting I (TEX 130), Ventilating and Knotting II (TEX 210), and Display, Presentation and Trade Standards (TEX 245). Her courses treat fitting as a clinical skill, with attention to scalp assessment, measurement, and client communication across a range of referral contexts.
In addition to her instructional duties, Ms. Petshek maintains a two-day-per-week arrangement with a regional health system providing services to oncology patients. This engagement is maintained independently of her College appointment.
