Nolan Pfeiff has been at the College since 2022. He holds an M.S.W. from The Ohio State University and a B.A. in Social Work from Ashland University. He holds Ohio Licensed Social Worker credential #SW-14822. Prior to joining the faculty, he worked in crisis intake at Tolliver County Behavioral Health from 2015 to 2022.
Mr. Pfeiff teaches PSY 140, Supportive Communication and Active Listening, and PSY 165, Recognition and Referral. PSY 140 addresses interview structure, neutral documentation of occupant accounts, and de-escalation techniques appropriate to property-investigation contexts. PSY 165 covers recognition of occupant distress indicators and the referral pathways available to field technicians, including behavioral health resources and community services.
Instruction in the Division's program is non-clinical. Mr. Pfeiff's professional licensure is held individually and does not extend to the College or to graduates of any Division program.
