At the College since 2010, serving as Adjunct Instructor, Avian Deterrence. Operates Sooy Farms, 1,100 acres, Tolliver Township.
Teaches Deterrent Placement and Rotation (AVD 100) and Propane Cannon Operation and Ordinance Compliance (AVD 140). Instruction for both courses is delivered on the Sooy property under a facilities use agreement between the College and Sooy Farms; students are responsible for their own transportation to the site.
Certified propane cannon operator. Mr. Sooy does not maintain a campus office; administrative inquiries are directed to the Division office at ext. 2410.
