Halvard M. Trenneman has served as President of Bellweather College of Applied Technology since 2017. He holds an Ed.D. in Higher Education Administration from the University of Toledo, an M.P.A. from Cleveland State University, and a B.S. in Business from Bowling Green State University. Prior to joining Bellweather, he served as Vice President for Academic Affairs at Chandliss Institute of Technology in Indiana from 2009 to 2017, and before that as Dean of Enrollment at the same institution from 2004 to 2009.
As President, Dr. Trenneman is responsible for the overall administration of the College, including academic programs, finance, student affairs, enrollment, and institutional effectiveness. He reports to the Board of Trustees and serves as the College's primary representative to the community, to state agencies, and to accrediting bodies.
Dr. Trenneman serves on the Council on Occupational and Technical Accreditation Commission on Standards and holds a seat on the board of the Ohio Association of Community Colleges. He is a member of the American Association of Community Colleges.
