Motion: to approve the minutes of the September 8 regular meeting. Carried 9–0.
The Provost reported the Curriculum Committee’s adoption of Addendum No. 1 to Catalog Volume 39 (four concentrations), effective Spring 2027. Received and filed; no Board action required under Policy 3.14.
New programs, second group.
The Provost presented seven additional proposed programs (Attachment C). Discussion. Trustee Wass stated that fourteen applications in a single year was, in his view, imprudent while the Council’s review remained open, and moved to divide the question; the motion to divide failed for want of a second. Trustee Sipp stated for the record that his abstention concerned sequencing, not merit.
Motion: to approve the programs listed in Attachment C and authorize substantive change applications. Pilchak/Ferriss-Cope. Carried 7–1–1, Wass opposed, Sipp abstaining.
Fall enrollment report.
Headcount 685. Ms. Tannehill noted the figure in the context of the five-year table to be published in the Fact Book. No questions.
